Describe ACL in three words: Edifying / Educating / Encouraging
How do you (or How have you), as an academic librarian, contribute to your campus? As a librarian, I serve students/staff/faculty by providing access to library resources that support college academic programs through evaluating library collections and processing books/items.
I began my career as a librarian . . . when my father told me to be practical and make a living as a librarian rather than being a penniless artist.
What do you value about ACL? It has broadened my understanding of librarianship. What we learn in library school is not enough to be a real-life librarian.
How were you introduced to ACL? By my boss, Ruth Martin
How are you or have you been involved in ACL? So far, not enough.
Do you have any specific interests in the library world? My passion is books on art and world literature.
