Job Summary

Faculty members at Valor Christian High School are charged with preparing tomorrow’s leaders to transform the world for Christ. The Instructional Faculty – Librarian supports all aspects of library work and library development, collaborates with faculty across the curriculum, develops students’ information literacy skills, and serves patrons in the library.

  • Provide a learning environment and library management style built upon mutual respect and conducive to student learning, ensuring that the library is an attractive place for students to study, research, and read

Educational/Experiential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and experience working in a library setting is required
  • Advanced Degree in Library Science area is preferred
  • Solid biblical and theological foundation and understanding
  • Desire to teach and/or experience within Christian education
