Describe ACL in three words: Community – Learning – Faith

How do you (or How have you), as an academic librarian, contribute to your campus? I serve as the liaison for Arts & Humanities and Business, I teach research and information literacy, I serve on a variety of university committees such as Faculty Development and Faculty Congress, I work with and help train our student paraprofessional library workers, and I plan arts and humanities programs and events through the library. I also teach a variety of research, writing, and information literacy courses.

I began my career as a librarian…as a community college research and instruction librarian in North Carolina.

What do you value about ACL? I value the shared mission within this unique community of practice.

How were you introduced to ACL? I found the organization during library school.

How are you or have you been involved in ACL? I serve as the new Book Review Editor for ACL’s journal, The Christian Librarian.
