Hosting the ACL conference multiple times has allowed us to serve the ACL membership while showcasing our institution's strengths and local flavor. It's incredibly rewarding to see attendees enjoy what we've planned, and the process of preparing unites your team in a unique way. If your institution meets the hosting requirements, I encourage you to explore this opportunity—you'll be blessed by this act of service and the chance to demonstrate your library's professional engagement to your campus.Ruth McGuire,

We were happy to host the 2023 Annual Conference. It allowed us a chance to serve our colleagues in the organization and contribute the strong traditions that ACL has of collegiality, camaraderie, and professional growth. Our team enjoyed shaping our rough plans into a final form that introduced old friends and new ones to our campus and local community. Hosting an annual conference requires effort and commitment, but the ACL staff guided us through the entire process and helped us take advantage of past practices while incorporating our own distinctive elements into the conference.Joshua Michael

CONFERENCE MISSION: The Association of Christian Librarians hosts an annual conference in order to inform attendees about contemporary trends in librarianship, stimulate professional development, encourage networking, and provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas. The conference is also one way that ACL can bring our members into community to encourage one another as Christian librarians primarily serving in Christian higher education around the globe. Librarians should attend who are looking to advance in their profession, engage with like-minded professionals, and be encouraged for the upcoming year.
