Spirit of ACL Award

This award is bestowed on an individual within their first 5 years of ACL membership who has demonstrated exceptional passion for the mission of the Association through volunteer service on a standing team, noteworthy participation in a special project, or other outstanding service to ACL.

2025 – Rebekah Leidenfrost

Since joining ACL, Rebekah has embraced the community with energy, creativity, and a servant-hearted spirit. She quickly became an active member of the Christian Library Consortium (CLC) leadership team, contributing her initiative and artistic skill to projects that strengthen member engagement. Her poster presentation for the 2024 ACL Conference was visually striking and effective, clearly communicating the mission and reach of the CLC.

Rebekah’s involvement extends beyond design. She brings experience in cataloging, programming, volunteer coordination, and web tools, and she applies these skills to support ACL initiatives in meaningful ways.

Her willingness to step in, lead, and serve demonstrates the qualities celebrated by the Spirit of ACL Award. Rebekah’s contributions reflect her dedication to professional growth and to strengthening the ACL community, and we are proud to recognize her as the 2025 Spirit of ACL Award recipient.
