Job Summary
This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position (Assistant Professor) reporting directly to the Library Director. We are looking for a collaborative leader to serve as a key associate in planning library priorities and leading our public services team along with assisting the Director.
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading public services, including a student-led triaged reference program.
- Overseeing Interlibrary Loan and resource sharing workflows.
- Supervising and coaching graduate student assistants and student workers.
- Modeling effective and ethical use of generative AI in research workflows.
- Collaborating with faculty and campus support units to integrate library services into academic support initiatives.
Educational/Experiential Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold an ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and have experience in public services, interlibrary loan, supervision, and engaging with trends in student success and user experience.
